There are lots of reasons, but one of the big reasons is
that it works. It relieves stress, gets you fit, and helps you
lose weight naturally and enjoyably.
Rather than just working your body in a traditional gym
workout, in yoga, you also train your breath and mind,
and this has a number of very profound effects on your
biochemistry.
But here’s the strange thing: for some reason, very few
yoga teachers out there are teaching yoga for weight loss
despite its success.
One teacher I recently learned about, Katrina Love Senn,
lost 60lbs herself and has written a very popular book on her
own healing process using yoga, so at this time of the year,
